“Pizza is a must!”
Reviewed November 3, 2011

I wasn't sure I wanted to try this place after reading reviews. I hate crust, but loved Sir'G and the service was wonderful. Not really sure what everyone is talking about that didn't like it. I am from the cities and loved the small town atmosphere.

“There Are Better Options in Ely”
Reviewed October 22, 2011

The food is bland. Unless you're a local, don't expect much in the way of customer service. Generous portions fail to make up for the lack of flavor. I've been to this place a few times, and will likely not return.

“Large portions, average quality Italian food”
Reviewed August 19, 2011

The food was average quality Italian. The pastas were heavily sauced. The salad with dinner was iceberg topped with a large amount of mozzarella - the presentation looked very unappealing. While there are options on portion sizes, even the small size is very large.

“Excellent Italian food & fresh pasta in a touristy town”
Reviewed August 10, 2011

Fabulous homemade Italian food- nothing like what you get at a chain Italian restaurant. Homemade pastas are so fresh tasting! Salad was loaded with fresh grated mozzarella cheese. Entrees- even the medium or half portions, were generous and very tasty! I sampled some of my mom's spaghetti that was included as a side with her chicken Parmesan, and you knew immediately that this was FRESH homemade pasta, not something from a box. I have heard people rave about the pizza but have yet to try it.

Busy place - if you arrive during peak meal times (especially during summer tourist season) be prepared to wait as it is fairly small establishment, but you will not be disappointed. Worth the wait! If you want something faster, there is a DQ down the road.
