“great neighborhood restaurant”
Reviewed October 2, 2012

This restaurant is so good we went once for lunch and breakfast the morning we left the City.
Both times the waiters were superb-we ate outside for lunch on a warm & sunny afternoon--our fish sandwhiches and fries were excellent. A bonus--it didn't break the bank.
Breakfast was quiet and serene inside--can't beat a traditional breakfast of eggs & toast and oh by the way the hash browns were great.
Can't beat a restaurant that makes dining a pleasure.

“Great food!”
Reviewed September 13, 2012

The food was great the service was great but the atmosphere was a tad cold. Our dishes were served hot and the food was fresh and very flavorful. Many nice spices filled out senses and palettes. Our waitress was on the spot when our water glasses got low and such. We just felt a chill in the air, there was no warmth or coziness to the atmosphere. The bathroom sink was one of a kind and a must see if you do go.

“Loved it!”
Reviewed August 30, 2012

We really enjoyed the Edina Grill. Very nice menu selection, and local draft beers (yummy!). I tried a patty's Burger, which had a fried egg on top of the hamburger and a special sauce. Wife had a seafood croquet. Good food and service, even on a Friday night.

“Good Stuff!”
Reviewed August 27, 2012

Edina Grill is consistent and quite delicious! I love the outdoor patio. It has some privacy from people walking around 50th & France while still getting to do some people watching. The patio is average size so there's often a wait on a nice day. To the food! We started off with the chicken wings -- they were lightly breaded and fried. Hardly any buffalo flavor to them but that seemed to be OK as they were still really delicious. They were served with a buttermilk ranch which was SO good. I'm not a ranch fan but I couldn't stop eating this stuff. I ordered the turkey burger which was fantastic. It had a really nice texture -- it was almost similar to a veggie burger. I find some turkey burgers are flavorless but this was had a nice flavor. Hints of cumin in the burger paired well the poblano pesto on the burger. The bun was also declious -- not too much, not too little bun. We all know a bun can make or break a burger! We had both sweet potato fries and the regular fries. The regular were pretty good -- they're thin and taste delicious when dipped into the buttermilk ranch! The sweet potato fries were just OK -- i found them to be too thick, although they were served with some kind of chipotle sauce that was really good. Overall I would recommend Edina Grill!

“Typically great diner food at 50th and France”
Reviewed August 13, 2012

Now you have 3 outdoor restaurants in a row on France Ave. We were indoors on Sunday for lunch. It was very busy and the portions seem to be decreasing over the years (which is proabably good for the waistline). The service today was spotty, but typically it is good. We have probably been there 20 times and will be back again. Our table all enjoyed our lunch.
