“Great food, early menu great, accomodating for young children”
Reviewed July 1, 2013

We ended up here with our 22 month old granddaughter because the place we intended to go to is closed on Saturdays and Sundays!! We arrived at 5:30, and noticing the white table cloths, asked if they had a high chair. Indeed they did, and were not at all put off that we had a very young child. They quickly brought the chair, along with crayons for her and paper on the table. We orded from the early menu. the salads were wonderful. I got the bbolognese which was absolutely fantastic. Hubby got the penne with chicken with artichokes, als very good. And although a glass of wine is included in the early menu, we preferred another choice the Caymus Connumdrum for $12/glass . Thus usually retails for 60/bottle. Service was excellent. And they brought the cheese pizza for our grandaughter very quickly, with our salads, so she was happy. We will be back, maybe even next Saturday.

“Great short ribs”
Reviewed June 29, 2013

Stumbled across this place while staying in Eden Prairie. Just grabbed a seat at the bar. Nice selection of local beers on tap and wines by glass. Homemade potato chips were available to nibble on and they were wonderful. Ordered the short ribs in a balsamic reduction and it was one of the best dishes I have ever tasted. The bartender, Brad, was amazing. He let me taste some of the wine by the glass to make sure it was something I liked and I noticed he was doing the same thing for other diners. He also knew a lot about the wines and food that was being served. He was a real asset for the restaurant.

I know I would go back to this restaurant if I ever visit Eden Prairie again.

“Early dinner menu was a less expensive, great dining experience”
Reviewed June 3, 2013

We met friends here prior to a St. Paul Chamber Orchestra concert in nearby Wooddale church and lucked into the early dinner menu timeslot.
For $24.95 you get an appetizer (salad, or mussells, or meatballs), an entre, and a glass of wine.
I had the grilled marinated hanger steak which was great. There were also pasta dishes that everyone was happy with too. Compared to the normal price, this was a deal. There may be a few better deals around, but this one was worth trying.
The wait staff was very professional. Food came all at once. The manager came to each table to ensure everything was fine.
As we had to get going for the concert, we had a slight issue trying to get the bill quickly - I think they're more used to people lingering which we would have liked to be able to do - not a bad thing.

Overall, a very nice dining experience.
We'd definitely go again to the early dinner, although the normal prices are a bit high for me.

“Nice patio”
Reviewed June 1, 2013

They have a limited menu and are a bit pricey but the food is wonderful, service is excellent and the outdoor patio great on one of our few nice days this year.

The penne pasta has chicken, artichokes, basil, garlic and lemon with a bit of cream sauce. This is their most popular dish for a good reason. My husband had the spaghetti and meatballs (lots of meatballs) which he really liked. He said the best meatballs are still at Al Vento.

The tiramisu was excellent but $9 for a small portion.

“Replace your chairs Campiellos!”
Reviewed May 15, 2013

I've been going there three times a year since they opened, and I've always enjoyed the food, the atmosphere, and the servers.

Three of us were there on Monday, and we had a great time, but... the chairs left spring marks on our butts.

Come on! You charge premium prices! Have you not sat in your own chairs? Sit down and feel for yourselves! The servers sheepishly agreed with us.
