Stopped in for dinner. It wasn't too busy but the service was still fairly slow. Had a ribeye steak, it was cooked fine but underseasoned. The sides were just okay, the asparagus was plain and the mac and cheese was pretty underwhelming. Overall, I wasn't impressed or disappointed, just all around average. It was a bit pricy for the overall quality. I should have taken the extra time to drive to manny's and spent a few more bucks on a real steak.

Well, we took 4 family members here and two of them were home brew guys. Well, the place was out of 5 of the beers my husband wanted to try. Could hardly believe it!! It was suppose to be a beer place. Then my chicken tasted awful. I left it there. My husband said his food was not good either. He ordered the walleye and he felt that it was not walleye. It did not taste like walleye and it did not flake like that particular fish does. Also the fish was overcooked. The gal who waited on us seemed stressed out. The restaurant is beautiful inside. We had been there before when it was Sidneys. Loved it then. They need to work on food quality and get their beer inventory up. They may be on the brink of closing down. We don't know. We will not go back.

Granite City is in the regular rotation whenever we get to the Metro area. Food is consistently good, no matter what we order.

Have visited on a number of occasions and the service is excellent, the beers refreshing and the food filling. Plenty of choice. E menu for everyone and, by our British standards, huge portions at good prices.

I really can't rate this particular GC high enough. First of all, the food was great. Plus, we were there during happy hour, which had some great deals. Secondly, the beer was delicious!!!! And 3rd, our server was incredible. His name was Brian - shaved head, goatee - so friendly and professional! We ate at several restaurants during out visit, but this was the best one, by far.
