“Eating out is getting expensive....”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 3, 2013

We liked the food....Doolittle's has always provided a good quality food. I had a chicken cranberry salad, which I would ask to have the blue cheese left off next time, but the poppy seed dressing was good. I didn't like the strong taste of the cheese. Hubby had a salmon burger, which he would have liked better had it not come with the requisite tartar sauce on it. 'Put it on the side guys...not everyone wants it'. Dessert was Key Lime pie and Carrot Cake. I did not like the shaved pieces of something I could not readily identify on the top of the cake. I also did not like that the caramel sauce was chilled on the plate prior to putting the cake on. It would have been nice as a warm sauce. Hubby loved the Key Lime dessert. After three drinks, coffee and a tip for our wonderful waiter 'Bobby', it made me want to stay home and cook next time.

“Great atmosphere, creative entrees, family friendly”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 25, 2013

We met friends here and were a party of 6 adults, 3 kids. They had a kids menu and were family friendly. The entrée selections were creative and excellent quality. I had had the center cut pork chop with apple chutney(it comes medium, but I had them cook it a medium well) and the mashed potatoes had a lot of flavor. My husband had the bacon cheeseburger and he liked it a lot. Our friends had the chicken fettuccini, pear salad, pork sandwich (with mango chutney) they all enjoyed them.

It was clear when we walked in that this is also a local favorite. The atmosphere is sophisticated but relaxed. There is a large wood-burning fire near the entrance where you can see chickens being cooked rotisserie style. Our server was friendly and attentive.
