Description: He Jensen family has been in the restaurant business for over 60 years. In 1947 Doron Jensen's grandfather Al and his brother Pete Jensen founded Jensen's Cafe in Fremont, Nebraska. Doron started his restaurant career working for his grandfather at the cafe. When Al died in 1979 Doron wanted to takeover Jensen's Cafe but he was too young at the time. Doron worked in the chain-restaurant business for many years, including founding a local steak house chain. He eventually grew tired of chains and wanted to start a "Local Landmark Restaurant" dedicated to his grandparents. In 1996, Jensen's Supper Club was born. Jensen's Supper Club was created with the mission that Supper Clubs belonged to the community. The 40's and 50's were the glory eras for Supper Clubs and they evoked a sense of occasion. It was a special place to celebrate with your family. In 2014, Jensen's Supper Club became Jensen's food & cocktails. The objective was to create a more casual atmosphere environment more welcoming to a broad demographic. Surrounded by new outlet shops Jensen's food & cocktails becomes the perfect pre- or post-shopping experience for lunch or dinner for anyone seeking a great meal in a casual atmosphere offered with impeccable service. Jensen's food & cocktails continues to celebrate its original mission: A place not merely to dine, but to celebrate!

Dined here for a business dinner. Service was great! Steak was, too. Can't say enough about their potties.

This is top notch food that tastes amazing. We rarely come here, so when we do its a great treat! I recomend the 6 oz. Stake with a baked patato.

“Bad food, bad service, overpriced”
Reviewed July 13, 2012

This is a 1960's style "supper club." The decor is what you'd expect. They offer a relish tray, salad and popovers along with the entree, but the entree is only the protein. A baked potato is $4. The salad was iceberg lettuce with a clear, sweet (overly) dressing, canned mandarin oranges and, inexplicably, feta cheese. I ordered the walleye filet, sauteed, and it was served piping hot - and flavorless. Panko breading and walleye both need a little jazz. The mashed sweet potatoes came with garlic and parmesan cheese (?) flavors that do not work at all together. It was horrible. And it was $7.My husband had the top sirloin steak and a baked potato. Our server checked with us a few times, then disappeared for about 45 minutes, leaving three tables waiting for their checks. She did not offer coffee or dessert. The total - no drinks or wine - was $68 plus tip for a stunningly mediocre meal and terrible service. We won't be back.

“Outstanding!”
Reviewed July 6, 2012

We had been to Jensens for brunch in the past, however this was our first trip for dinner. It was great! The food, service and atmosphere was perfect. My wife and I both had the Chicken Oscar - best we've ever had. Portions are very large. I would highly suggest Jensen's. I really does rank up there with some of the great restaurants in downtown Minneapolis. Big fan!

“I agree, it's not the same.”
Reviewed June 26, 2012

For many years, Jensen's was our "go to" spot for anniversaries and birthdays. But in the last 2 years the service has really declined. The wait staff seems burned out and unorganized. And it's uncomfortable now. I used to love the ambiance, the woodwork, and the amazing art on the walls. But I won't rush back. The staff needs to be refreshed.
