Visited for the New Years Eve service. Used to frequent but moved out of the immediate vicinity. First visit in about 1.5 years.

Food: the starter was a new years eve special, BBQ shrimp for approx $12. Only 5 small shrimp in a bowl of BBQ sauce soup and toast. Horrible value. The Drunk and Dirty sirloin, historically a great choice but on this night, was ordered medium and served rare (almost raw - sent back). The drunk & dirty used to be a thinner (1 inch) piece, but on this day was nearly a cube and lacked the seasoning I'm used to.. Teriaki green beans and smashed potatoes are great.

Service: Bartenders were good. Server forgot drink order and starter (had to re-take order). Accommodating to steak being undercooked.

Atmosphere: very nice. Interesting sculptures hanging from ceiling.

Cleanliness: nice. No complaints.

Will I Be Back: Not any time soon. Meal for 2 was nearly $100 after a few alcoholic beverages and we left dissapointed.

Bonfire is one of our favorite restaurants. Their food is consistently good and they pour a very good drink. They usually offer one or more nightly dinner specials and experiment with providing new dinner and lunch offerings. A worthwhile Happy Hour is offered every day of the week from 3-6 PM. Worthwhile because -> appetizers and pizzas are 1/2 price and all drinks prices are reduced as well. Our menu favorites: Bullbites (appetizer); Walleye Dinner; Three Sausage Pizza; Coco Shrimp; Drunk & Dirty Sirloin. Large parking lot with no parking issues.

First off, the price range of $10-15 is outdated. The entrees are $20 and up. We were there on a Tuesday night, and it was crowded. We ordered the 8-oz. steak. The steaks were nothing to rave about; in fact, they were tough. Apparently all entrees come with the house specialty of green beans, which are so-so. One person had mashed potatoes, another had rice pilaf. The food was lukewarm and rapidly turned to cool. We should have sent it back. The wait staff is frenetic. I do not think it is necessary for them to rush --practically run -- as they go about their duties.
