We love Andiamo, and dine there several times a month. It's close to home, always friendly, and the food and atmosphere are geared to locals who get together with friends and spend some time together sharing a meal. The food is basic Italian, but it's consistently prepared and executed with care. The wait staff is very knowledgeable and engaging.

The husband and I made reservations through Open Table for this delightful Italian restaurant on a recent trip to The Cities. We arrived a little early for our reservation but getting seated was no issue and we were thrilled with the service and menu offerings. My husband chose the white house wine and I opted for the red sangria which was perhaps the best I have had. Our calamari appetizer was large and tasty--loved the additional peppers that were included. Our entrees---the Parmesan Crusted Walleye and the Cappellini Alla Fresco were generous and piping hot when we got them along with being delicious! We opted to share a tirimasu and cappuccinos for dessert to finish the night off and the evening was complete! Perhaps the best thing about our delightful meal was the cost---we had more than enough to eat and were able to eat and drink for around $70 for all of this! We even topped the evening off with limoncellos ! Great food for great prices and the service was great. Attentive but not too attentive!! Will definitely be coming back the next time we are in the area!

Ok, I'll confess....my favorite restaurant formerly at this location was Viva Italia (in their early days before they started having problems running the restaurant effectively). Everything that has followed in this location has taken a step down in terms of quality, price, etc...until Andiamo. We're back on the upswing!

Andiamo sticks to a basic menu, but does most of their pizza and pasta well. The bolognese sauce is rich in flavor and the marinara sauces are good too. The pizza is great...and, bonus, if you manage to make it during a happy hour it's half price.

Good food, good value....and one of the few non-chain restaurants in this area.

Very nice local option, with good quality ingredients. Somewhat small selection, but what is available is really good. Great for kids too.

After having moved from the NJ/NY area we were missing high quality Italian non-chain restaurants. We saw this when we were driving by and decided to give it a shot. Pretty reasonably priced Italian menu and tastes good too. We have been a regular.
