The Allen's were amazing...they made us feel so welcome. Best of all they sent us a number of brochers, and made suggestions as to how we could spend our time and getaway in Duluth...it being our first time ever being there. The room was as romantic as it appeared on there web site, and all I can say about the breakfast was exceptional. We will definately be telling our friends and family about our wonderful time at A.G.Thomson House :)

This was our 3rd visit to A.G.Thomsen House and we know we will continue to come back. The hospitality is unbeatable! Tim & Angie make you feel welcome right from the initial greeting through the goodbyes. We have met many wonderful people at our different stays here and look forward to meeting many more. The decor is warm and inviting and the food is fantastic! It's easy to find and close to everything to do and see in Duluth.

We came in for a 48 hour power honeymoon from the twin cities. We both loved the quite seclusion of the "servent" room we stayed in. The bath, shower, bed, and tv, were are perfectly placed. We will certainly return...when we have more time.

Tim and Angie Allen are the ultimate innkeepers. From the minute we got out of our car
to walk in, there was Angie with a smile and warm greeting. We knew we were in for a
great stay. The Thomson house is awesome, warm, comfortable, clean, cozy. The Mayors Chamber was our home for two nights, and we felt like we were at home.
We were impressed with all the attention to detail. The warm chocolate chip cookies,
the wine, your movie assortment, all your tips on things to do around town, and the
super, yummy, filling breakfasts. I don't think we had to eat the entire day until dinner.
We would definitely advise anyone who is visiting your area to call upon your home as
their place of rest and relaxation. Thanks for making our stay for our 30th anniversary
a truly comfortable one. Susan and George Fornal Shawnee, Kansas

If you are visiting Duluth you must stay at the AG Thomson Bed and Breakfast. The house is so charming and decorated with perfect taste. When you think of a bed and breakfast this is it. The rooms were all unique and very clean. Breakfast every morning was absolutely delicious. The innkeepers Tim and Angie are so warm, friendly and personable. They are the perfect hosts. They know how to give everything a special touch. I can't say enough good things about this B and B. The location is perfect too with a view of lake superior. I can't wait to stay again!

My husband and I had received a gift certificate for the AG Thompson House and were more than pleasantly surprised. The Inn is very historic and in a beautiful section of town. Our room was not only charming, but had a sitting room, gas fireplace and double jacuzzi. Even though the Inn was full, we never heard another sound from any of the other guests. We felt as though we had the whole place to ourselves. The home-made breakfasts were a treat, and the owners made us feel like royalty. The cost was a little pricey, but worth every penny. We'd go back in a heartbeat.
