“Beautiful B7B experience”

The AG Thomson House was a beautiful find for our weekend getaway. Everything from the decor of the home, the warm hospitality, the outstanding food, and all of the subtle hospitable details...truly every detail was fantastic. We found ourself in a spacious sweet with every amenity that we could have needed. We had a pleasant balance of privacy in our suite, along with some casual socializing with other guests at our savory breakfasts. We highly recommend the AG Thomson House to anyone considering a stay in Duluth! We will be returning for our next weekend away and we will be telling all our family and friends about our fantastic find of such a beautiful B&B!

My husband and I recently stayed at the A. G. Thomson House. We had a wonderful time. Our room had a whirlpool tub and a fireplace. It was beautifully decorated and extremely clean. Tim and Angie were very accomodating. We had a great time and plan to return during the summer.

A group of friends decided to go to Duluth for New Years Eve. We kind of stumbled upon the AG Thompson house to be honest but what a treasure we found. From the minute we walked in the door we felt nothing but warmth. From the atmosphere of the house to the Owners themselves. We spent some time in the living room talking and relaxing with friends and meeting some of the other guests. The room we stayed in was very cozy and had a very "home" feel to it. The breakfast in the morning was pheonominal. Very exceptional cooking skills. Overall we had an amazing experience at the AG thompson house and I suggest anyone looking for a place to get away too and feel welcomed and warm, to book some time at the AG thompson house.

Having stayed in many B&Bs all over the States and Europe, we weren't sure what to expect in Duluth, Minnesota.

Wow, were we pleasantly surprised! This is one of the most beautiful, welcoming and relaxing B&Bs we have stayed at! The house was in impeccable condition and was wonderfully decorated for the holidays. Our room was spacious and had a great view of the sunrise over Lake Superior! Angie and Tim are gracious hosts and the breakfasts were amazing!

We highly recommend this B&B and given the fact it is a short drive from our home in the Twin Cities, we will definitely be returning!

Ryan and I stayed at AG Thomson over the New Years Holiday. There was an immediate comfort and coziness walking into the B&B. Tim and Angie's hospitality was superb. We felt right at home, with anything we may need at our fingertips. We especially enjoyed the "wine hour" which gave us a chance to sit and chat with our fellow bed and breakfast-ers. The night of New Year's Eve we took a cold but refreshing walk through the beautiful, hilly Duluth streets around the bed and breakfast, where we happened upon a group of young girls sledding down a hill. Of course, we had no choice but to ask to join in. What I didn't realize was what a little sledding would actually entail. After a SEVERE wipe out, Ryan got down on one knee and asked me to marry him! The moment was perfect, the answer was yes, and when we shared our news with Tim and Angie the next morning, their joy for us was so genuinely sincere! We had missed breakfast due to our late night sledding, but they still brought out delicious warm muffins, coffee and juice for us, along with a little something to bring on the road with us. The stay was truly magnificent.

The bed and breakfast was excellent and we have never experienced such incredible time. It was so lovely that I proposed to my girlfriend there. We look forward to staying here in the future. I have recommended many of my friends to stay at the A.G. Thomson house if they want to experience an incredible time like we did!

My husband and I (along with 3 other couples) just returned from a 2 night stay at the A.G. Thomson House in Duluth. We absolutely LOVED this place. Tom & Angie were such gracious hosts. The breakfasts were amazing (warm muffins, scones, fresh fruit, stuffed french toasts, wild rice quiche) and the house was so cozy. Don't plan too many activities because you won't want to leave your room! They serve complimentary wine in the common areas each evening. We went skiing at Spirit Mountain then came back and played games, had drinks by the fire place. The rooms are gorgeous with 2 person whirl-pool tubs and fireplaces. We will absolutely be back to visit them again. Check them out...you won't be disappointed!
