Unfortunately, the hotel remains to be tired and worn out looking. They have replaced (most) of the beds with sleep number beds, which was a nice plus, but didn't really make up for the water stained, crumbling in the corner ceiling in our room, nor the stained walls in the bathroom. As my husband was on military business and the military had booked the room for him he was booked into a room with just a king bed. (we are allowed to be in the room with him). Despite a phone call and requesting again at checkin a room with 2 doubles, they refused claiming the price was more for 2 doubles (not true according to their website) with his goverment rate. We were finally able to obtain a roll away for our son. We had to move furniture a bit to get the rollaway set up, and there was food under the lounge chair. Parking here on weekends is a disaster, there basically is not enough, and they give you a "parking permit" and directions to park in a few other parking lots, that all have signs stating "No overnight parking, violators will be towed" so despite the permit, we were still worried our car might not be there in the morning. The "free" wireless was horrible and I ended up switching over to my wireless card after waiting 10 minutes for a webpage to download.
There is very little at that end of the skyway in the way of restaurants or shops, and I would not recommend the restaurant up top of the hotel, at least for breakfast, the food, cleanliness, and again worn out feeling of the room was very disappointing, as well as overpriced. Unfortunately, my husband will be staying there again next month, but we will not stay there when it's on our dime.
