“Not Very Good”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 12, 2013

Ate breakfast here and was extremely disappointed. Service was awful and we were 1 of 4 tables sat in the entire restaurant. Food quality was subpar, bland. Will not go back.

“Fantastic view, good food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 8, 2013

We had a very nice dinner on a Wednesday night. My husband had the German Sausage Sampler, which he said was great but a little heavy. I had trout which was also great, but I was a little disappointed that the "seasonal vegetable" was cooked greens of some kind that were hiding under the entrée. The dinner tab was a pleasant surprise, as we had paid more the previous day at a place next door. We will eat there again, I'm sure.

“Great food and even better service!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 7, 2013

This is an upper scale restaurant but with casual attire. We had wonderful service from Michelle who made sure we were happy with our wine selection (she gave 3 tasters). The food was wonderful and the view was great! We will be back to this restaurant even if we don't stay at Fitger's Inn! Breakfast the next day was good also.

“Great food with waterfront views.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 30, 2013

A creative menu featuring seafood (the seafood tower is great) and traditional American fare. Wednesday night is German night with authentic German selections (the sister restaurant in Hudson is a German restaurant). An attentive owner, Marie, overlooks the service and kitchen. A great setting. Fun bar.

“A restaurant with great potential but awful execution.”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed July 29, 2013

Awful service. Three of us walked in to a dining room at lunch time barely a third full on a beautiful day at the height of tourist season. We waited nearly ten minutes before even seeing a staff member and a host to seat us. Server was prompt to greet us and take our drink orders, but then completely disappeared. After waiting 20 minutes to receive our drinks including water we got up to leave. Then our server appeared without drinks acted surprised that we were leaving. Good atmosphere, great views but clearly untrained and uncaring staff. I'll never go back.
