“Fresh, Delicious, and all Organic!”
Reviewed September 4, 2013 via mobile

Duluth Grill is a must if you happen to be in Duluth! Be sure to arrive early, we came for lunch around 11 on a Wednesday and by the time we left it was packed and there were people waiting. The menu is huge and between breakfast and lunch entrees there's surely something for everyone. It is a little pricier than most places but the serving sizes are pretty big and you are paying for locally sourced organic food. Plus, what is more local than their own garden? All your vegetables are picked fresh so it is absolutely worth the money. The corned beef hash was delicious, as was the Thai peanut burger. The best thing that we had while we were there though was the French toast. The food itself was good, but their homemade berry syrup is TO DIE FOR!!! I could pour that stuff into a bowl and eat it with a spoon. Our waitress was friendly and attentive, and although small and busy it never got too loud. Would definitely return!

“I need to go back”
Reviewed September 4, 2013

A couple of nights ago we went to the Duluth Grill for dinner. My wife had seen it on Diners,
Drive-ins and Dives. It isn't really a dive, more like a diner. The service is really great and the
food is too. I had the bison roast dinner which was about as tender as any meat ever. The lady
next to us had the Whitefish dinner and remarked about how fantastic it was. They offer a lot
of breakfast type foods, like pancakes, omelets, thick sliced apple wood smoked bacon and many
folks were in there having that stuff for dinner. There are many more things on the menu that I
would like to try so I guess I need to go back, and back, and back.....

“Unpretentious down-home quality.”
Reviewed September 2, 2013

Located in a former chain-restaurant building next to a motel in working-class South Duluth, this unprepossessing place has excellent, fresh cuisine for very reasonable prices. Service is friendly and easy. Great value; definitely on the short list of best places to dine in Duluth.

“My favorite restaurant ever”
Reviewed September 2, 2013

There are gardens all over the parking lot and on the roof that provide produce for the restaurant. Everything is home made (even the ketchup!). Their menu is large. They have traditional menu items like burgers, lasagna, meat loaf, but also have lots of unique things, including plenty of items for vegetarians, vegans, and gluten-free diets. They also contribute to the community, which is great. Additionally, they sell a few locally made items at the counter. Breakfast is served all day. It is conveniently located next to Interstate 35 for those just passing through Duluth.

“Go early, place fills crazy fast for a reason!!!!”

MUST GO HERE! Doesn't look like much from the outside, but don't let that fool you. Very unique menu. Caters well to vegetarian, vegans, gluten free and carnivores alike!!!! Very local (ingredients from the parking lot gardens even!!)!. The whitefish was terrific. The capprese salad was amazing (the balsamic vinaigrette was to die for!!). The Bisapeno-Pepper Burger was awesome! Service was very attentive and helpful. Not one negative. A must dine at while in Duluth!
