“Banana pie to.die.for.”
Reviewed November 7, 2011

i attended a conference in Duluth earier this year. At the suggestion of a colleague, we went to the Grill and had some of the best food ever. I had this vegetarian meatloaf dish with potatoes and banana pie for dessert. It was amazing. All of the vegetable were fresh, grilled, and seasoned to perfection. A definite must if in the area.

“A real nightmare”
Reviewed November 7, 2011

The food was SO BLAND. I had a breakfast meal and the hashbrowns tasted like pinesol. They had no real ketchup just tomatoes and honey which was gross. My dad had the pastie and it was very bland and tasteless. My mom had the pesto and it was also lacking flavour. Ordered some peanut butter with my toast and it was runny and unsweetened.
Environmentalists may enjoy this place because all ingredients are real and homemade but anyone used to tasting their meal stay away. Overpriced and overall terrible.

“Simply amazing”
Reviewed October 31, 2011

Being from out of town,we asked our hotel's front desk where a good breakfast place was. They recommended we try Duluth Grill. It was a little tricky finding it with all of the road construction, but I;m GLAD we found it. We were greeted immediately upon walking in the door and seated promptly. Our server greeted us right away. Service is overall extraordinary. We sat and read the menu for about a half hour, there were so many interesting items to choose from. Their emphasis is on fresh, local ingredients. Portions are large and the food is top-notch. We will be going back whenever we are in Duluth. Find this place, I promise you wont be disappointed!!!

“Best place to eat in Duluth”
Reviewed October 26, 2011

Had lunch here one day, and came back the next day for breakfast! This is worth finding! It's a little tricky at the moment, due to road construction, but find this restaurant. Large portions, fresh ingredients--well prepared and presented! Just go! It's Duluth at its best.

“For a feel of Minnesota”
Reviewed October 19, 2011

The Mac and Cheese I ordered was soggy. The portions were generous though. Try the sweet potato. Very good. The server was great too. Atmosphere is laid back and casual, and you get a feel of the culture of Minnesota. The area though is a bit scary, in an industrial area and you'd not expect to find a restaurant there. Near seedy motels and gas stations. But I like the fact that they offer vegetarian options.
