Description: Classic Italian dinning and Wine Spectator award winner since 1999 Bellisio’s restaurant conjures up images of highly skilled chefs, fine wines, superb service, and fresh Italian food. And while all this is most certainly true, one must not forget that Bellisio’s is above all an experience. An exceptional dining experience, to be precise, but one that takes place in a casual atmosphere reminiscent of the quaint eateries and wine bars of the Italian countryside. And no wonder. The experience is fashioned after the small village of Bellisio, Italy, home to the owner’s ancestry. Imported direct from Italy are the beauty, comfort, romance, and glorious recipes. Specialty dishes include perfectly prepared pasta dishes using the finest imported and local ingredients; fennel roasted rack of pork; homemade risotto dishes; grilled steaks; shrimp; seafood; and a fresh catch feature every day. All served with a world class wine menu to match. Bellisio’s has received Wine Spectator’s prestigious “Best of Award of Excellence” every year since we opened in 1999. It’s a simple, colorful, elegant, and exceptional dining experience.

Stopped here during family vacation. After visiting the tourist attractions in the area, it was very relaxing to be welcomed in for dinner. We all found something on the menu. Good selection of pairings in the wine flights. The food was not spectacular, but not bad. I could spend a few weeks here exploring the wine list.

If you want to splurge in Duluth and have a great Italian meal this is the place to go. They have a nice variety on their menu and a spectacular wine list. they also offer wine flight tastings so you can try different kinds of the same variety of wine. The pasta is cooked to order and the sauces are very flavorful without having to drown the pasta in them. They have great appetizers and really rich desserts, but they sell truffles for a little dolce to end your meal with. Although you can easily drop 100 bucks here for two people, it is worth it. Reservations are recommended but bar seating is available which is vey comfortable. The service is top notch. Don't be afraid to try some of their Italian wine especially if you are a strictly California person. The servers are very knowledgeable and can offer great suggestions.

Seriously this place rocked... loved the wine flights that you could get to test out various wines. Ordered the Lobster stuff ravioli with crab - FANTASTIC! My mother ordered the risotto with shrimp and asparagus - To Die For!!!

The service was amazing... loved our waitress and even the host/manager was very nice and welcoming.

And to think, I didn't even want to try it.

We dined here on a recent trip to Diluth. I have eaten in lLittle Italy in New York. San Francisco and Boston and this meal surpassed them all. My husband had the season special -Grouper and I had the ravioli stuffed with 3 meats in a marinara sauce - the flavors popped! The wine list was outstanding and I wanted to take one home with me! We will definitely return!
