Description: For over 20 years, the Amazing Grace Bakery and Cafe has been serving great food to our community in a friendly, welcoming environment. Our customers appreciate our partnerships with local vendors and our use of earth-friendly products. We are proud to say that our breakfast, lunch, and bakery items are prepared from scratch in our kitchen and bakery. The Grace also serves as a coffee shop, where folks can get their caffeine fix from organic coffee products provided by local vendors. Finally, we are heavily involved in our community and local philanthropy. The Grace is a gathering place and performance venue for local musicians, artists, and community groups. We are a warm and welcoming place for all.

This place is in the basement of an old building turned shopping-mall. Their pastries are great and they often have live music. It's no Starbucks. Much more grassroots, hippie-type place.

I had the french toast and my husband got a breakfast burrito thing and we really liked both. Maybe we got the wrong thing, but the mochas tasted like hot chocolate (read: really yummy). Liked the atmosphere. We got a fun table with a bunch of weird trivia facts on it and had to sit at all the seats so we could read everything! I always prefer to support local places and would definitely go back for breakfast if we're in the area.

Believe it or not, the lasagna is a surprise treat! The soups are really wonderful. And you can't go wrong with any of the breads!

My wife had the short stack with blueberries and I had the Smoked Salmon Omelette. Both were delicious. Would recommend any of their home made breads and bakery products.

A few words from a cook concerning the likes of THE Amazing Grace. Good coffee. Average, unseasoned food. Unacceptable breakfast wait times (over 40 un-exaggerated minutes). Subway quality sandwiches on slightly better bread (?). Run of the mill soups (bland) and salads. VERY slow and clueless front of house staff. From what I gathered, very poor and unconcerned management. Will not return. IF YOU CAN'T DO BREAKFAST RIGHT, THEN DON'T BOTHER WITH IT AT ALL.
