Great beer, great beer cheese soup, nice atmosphere. Public parking right next to the restaurant so you can walk around canal park. I would recommend the fish tacos too!

Whenever you team up a head brewer and a chef/kitchen mgr, who care about what goes not only on a plate but what's in the glass as well, good things will happen. Canal Park Brewing Co. is such a place. Take craft ales that just as if not better than their counterparts, whether it be a stout, IPA, brown ale partnered with a menu that will leave in a state of WOW. The cheese curds are the way all should be(and usually ain't). That being a light batter slightly denser than a tempura-type batter. The quesadilla will rock your world as well. Think you know what a good Reuben is, give their 15 barrel Reuben a try. This will have you thinking "who knew" as well as"I'm coming back here soon. Real, real soon. In the summertime they have a patio with million dollar views of Lake Superior(for free). And the interior isn't too shabby either. Word of warning, no flatscreens on site, and healthy portions that you might not want to share with anybody. Yes they are that damn good. So if you visit this place wear comfortable clothing and a good pair of walking shoes. Cause you gonna need em'. I've visited this place twice and was not disappointed at all. So if you're in Duluth for a getaway or a business endeavor, go have a look and see for yourself. If you know what good is you'll be back.

Located on the Lake Superior Boardwalk, the Canal Park Brewery is the newest restaurant and brewery in the Canal Park area.

Self serve seating is available in the bar area, however we choose to wait for a 30 minute period to be seated in the restaurant. During this short evening wait, I noticed many cheesesteak sandwiches, and fish n chips meals being delivered to tables. Both looked appetizing to me, but in the end I ordered the "D" Town Cheesesteak sandwich; a slow roasted herb crusted sirloin shaved thin, melted swiss, beer onions, grilled peppers (green & red), mushrooms on a hoagie bun and rosemary au jus.

My wife ordered the Mac & Beer Cheese Macaroni; A crispy bread crumb crust macaroni, covered with Cheddar ale sauce. Meat choices are smoked kielbasa and grilled chicken. My wife choose the kielbasa to pair with her four flight beer sampler.

Note: Only three entrees are on the menu, so your food selections will be primarily salads, soups, burgers and sandwiches. Our food was very good and we both enjoyed our meals. I'm looking forward to ordering the very appealing fish n chips entrée.

Great brew pub! good grub in this pub. Large portions and if you are not starving split it and have another one of their hand crafted ales. Fish and chips only one example, on their simple, but quality menu choices. I Shall Return.
