“Beautiful beach, unfinished walkway”

We drove out to park point and, while the beach was fine, the boardwalk had a large step to get on from the parking lot, and then it ended at the beach with a 2 foot drop. You could walk on the grass around it, but that was slippery for my mom especially.

Probably the only good beach to swim/lay out at in Duluth. There are a few other options, but Park Point is clearly the best and most busy. In the summer, it gets quite bustling and the only way in and out if the Aerial Lift Bridge. Congestion is almost unavoidable as the Lift Bridge goes up and down according to water traffic. I wouldn't visit the beach if you have strict time constraints and you don't like to plan ahead. The beach is suitable for families, singles, couples, and friends. -- everyone!

Park Point has a wonderful sandy beach unlike any other I have ever experienced along the lake. This is a must for anyone visiting the area! I have been to the North Shore for visits all my life but only last year found out about Park Point. Wonderful for swimming.

Bicycle is the best method to see Park,(or Minnesota), Point.
If you cannot bike it, pull over to let following traffic by and not spoil your viewing. Pull over and park by the little airport and walk over the sand dune to experience Lake Superior one bare foot at a time.

It was a fun beach to visit and beachcomb. Even though the weather was cool & rainy at times it was fun to see the beach.
