“Very Nice Zoo”
Reviewed February 16, 2008

We visit this zoo everytime we camp in northern Wisconsin. We enjoy the zoo. The animal displays are set up very nicely. A great zoo for families.Of course, we love the "Northern Territory". Very few zoos have a live Kodiak Bear. Nice gift shop and the Safari Cafe has a few delicious items.Admission

“Good exhibit assortment...”
Reviewed September 21, 2007

...Although the exhibits of this small zoo could be updated a bit to allow viewing animal enclosures from above etc (many of the animals can only be viewed through a glass window or full wire / chain link enclosures, which makes picture-taking difficult), the assortment of animals this small zoo has is good, including a cool kangaroo exhibit that allows you to walk into the enclosure with the animals (although the kangaroos stayed away from the path when I was there). The zoo also has a nice petting zoo for the kids.

“Nice small zoo”
Reviewed July 25, 2006

We had fun looking at all of the animals and even got to pet a few. The train ride isn't worth the extra cost. The zoo is home to many canadian geese and the sidewalks had a lot of goose poo on them (but there were people walking around scooping, we got there when they opened).
