We really enjoyed our trip up the North Shore. We saw several sights on our way up from Duluth to our motel in Grand Marais and back. We also traveled on up to the Canadian border. We had great food: great lunch at the Camp 61 in Beaver Bay and great lunch at My Sister's Place and pizza supper at Swen and Ole's both in Grand Marais! Artist Point was the highlight for us in Grand Marais. Neat scenery--and we built rock formations to add to the beauty of the shore! It was beautiful sightseeing up 61 and glad we made the trip! The Inn at Lake Superior on the Canal in Duluth, Minn., was an excellent place to stay! As we made our way north, we didn't make all the stops we wanted to but did make time for Palisade Head, High Falls (Grand Portage State Park), and the falls at the Temperance River.
