we loved staying here , we loved the coffee readt early in the morning so we could go out and see the ships, and then breakfast was ready at 6:30(and it was the best weve ever had) while we watched the sun come up.then after that we still had enough time to go enjoy the rooftop pool and hottub, and still had enough time to go and take a nap untill checkout which is 12:00PM.(awsome)we will definantly stay here again!!!!!!!!!!!

Room Tip: it was foggy so we were glad we had a bridgeside room instead of a lakeside view.

We took a basketball team to Duluth for a game and pre-arranged for 13 rooms for the team. The hotel did a great job working with us on the rooms and our rooming list and even were able to accommodate us when we needed to add a 14th room at the last second with no additional hassles. The rooms were very clean, with a lot of space. We had a room with a king size bed and a pull out sleeper sofa, which essentially gave us two sections of our room with two TVs. Great location. The morning continental breakfast was perfect for our team. Hotel staff was great to work with -- friendly and professional. We would definitely stay there again.

This is the most wonderful place to stay in Duluth, MN. The hotel thinks of everything. They have very comfortable large rooms ---This is the only hotel in Duluth with private balconies facing the spectacular lake Superior.-- We always get one of the balcony rooms--we sit outside and sip champagne and watch the boats, people ,world traveling ships and horse drawn carraiges go by. Way too many things to mention but some of the things we love are free use of bycycles, fantastic breakfasts, fresh coffee and tea 24 hours, walking the boardwalk and the tarred path for rollar bladers right in front of our balcony, grassy area for playing catch, rock collecting, swimming pools on the roof and on main floor and across the street are many many unique shops, restaurants, a hands on lake museum the kids love and art gallaries and at night the hotel provides a bon fire and smores for everyone..

Room Tip: we have stayed there many times -- any time of the year is great -- pay the extra for the balcony r...

We received an excellent rate, and because rooms were available, we received a room upgrade at no extra charge. The staff was friendly and professional from checkin to checkout and seemed genuinely happy to provide excellent service. We've stayed at The Inn on Lake Superior several time a year for a number of year now, and always look forward to our stays, as the accommodations are always superb and the staff is well trained and very competent. We've never had a problem and will always make this facility our first choice in Duluth.

Room Tip: Discuss your requirements with the reservations staff. They will go out of their way to accommodate...

Whenever my mom comes out to visit from NJ, we always try to make Duluth a part of her stay. This time we stayed at The Inn on Lake Superior. We booked at the very last minute, but were able to get a lake view room with a balcony that accommodated all 5 of us. The room was clean and comfortable, breakfast had lots of options, good coffee, and a great view, the indoor pool and hot tub were fun, and my boys had a blast swimming in the outdoor rooftop when it was 32 degrees out! I have been hoping for the opportunity to stay here for quite a while, and it was worth the wait. I will be back!

Room Tip: I reccommend a lake view room, the sunrise was spectacular!

Thank you so much for sharing your story, and I'm glad you and your family were so happy here. The rooftop pools stays open as long as the temperature us above zero degrees - it's pretty popular at any temperature. We look forward to welcoming you back the next time you are in Duluth.

We love Duluth so much we try to get there at least once a year. Sometimes we go as a couple, last July we gort married there! We have gone with the kids also. For our wedding, the staff went far above and beyond to make our stay perfect. They allowed the florist to bring flowers early and store them in the staff refidgerator! The room was perfect, the pool on the roof is wonderful, and the view of the lake can not be beat! Breakfast is excellent every single time we go. Can't say enough about the Inn on Lake Superior!

Room Tip: The lake view is wonderful but to save money, the city view rooms are just as nice!

We enjoyed another getaway to the Inn on the Lake in Duluth. Our queen double was very comfortable with a large flat screen TV. The hot tub and sauna was very relaxing. I liked the fact that the childrens pool hours ended at 10pm but adults got another hour. The breakfast buffet was very nice with a large selection. The dining area overlooking Lake Superior made for a great way to start the day

Room Tip: lake view and bridge view are more expensive. pool hrs. are enforced so poolside or the 3rd floor p...
