The lakefront may be cold, but our stay in the Hampton Inn was warm and cozy. Really nice, spacious room. Friendly staff. Cookies and newspapers if we wanted. Lots of breakfast choices. I will stay there again.

Perfect stay couldn't of asked for anything better. We had a beautiful view of the lift bridge as well as the light houses. The hotel is beautiful and in great shape the staff was great to deal with and did everything they could to make our stay perfect. We will always know were to stay when in Duluth and will always recommend the Hampton Inn.

This hotel has a great location. Our room was nice, we reserved a city view room and got one that we could see the lake from, so that was a big plus. The bed was great. We tried to use the hot tub, but didn't last long as it was extremely chlorinated, and was making our eyes hurt. Overall, it was a good experience.

Thank you so much for your review and we apologize you did not get to enjoy the hot tub as long as you would have liked. We have addressed the issue with our maintenance team and hope the next time you're in the area you would consider staying with us again.

Canal view rooms are great for watching ship traffic. We were on the third floor & saw several ships come in and depart right from our room. Great breakfast with hot items every day. Nice sunroom on the lake side. Complimentary USA today newspaper left at our door. Pool & hot tub area is spacious. Will stay here again. Priced lower than neighboring motels in this area.

My sister and I arrived late afternoon and wished we had time to enjoy a cup of tea in the sunroom off the lobby. A 24 hour tea and coffee station is available with cookies and apples in the lobby. We had a lake side room with two comfy queen beds in a clean, comfortable room with squeaky clean large bathroom. Great to have a small frig, microwave, and in-room coffee pot. Sunrise over the lake is stunning. The board walk was free of ice and snow and we were able to walk along the lake enjoying the icy landscape of the lake.

Room Tip: Spend the extra money to have a lake view.
