“Such a delight to find this in Duluth!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 13, 2012 via mobile

My husband and I often visit this city, in all seasons. The Zeitgeist has given us another great reason to make the trip up from the Twin Cities. The ambiance is hip, urban, and understated. The service excellent (and attractive!), but the FOOD is to die for. The Gouda-stuffed figs wrapped in bacon were truly just the starter. The scallops in a honey-flavored champagne-Dijon sauce were out of this world. But, actually very much IN this world. In Duluth. Delicious. Don't miss it.

“Great Food!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 16, 2012

I really love the food and the atmosphere at this place, and you can even walk downstairs and watch a movie after dinner. The parking for this place is not the best as it is right downtown, but it really is a fantastic addition to the Duluth restaurant scene. The only issue I have is that whenever I try to get a seat, the place is half full and they say they have no seats. Last time I waited a half hour to get a seat, when they said they were on a "seating hold" . I would think that a restaurant this nice would have enough wait staff to fill the place full.

“A Beautiful Experience”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 5, 2012

I love this place. A creative mesh of fine dining and some casual fare, done in an urban, contemporary style with a hint of Asian flare with the rice bowls (which are fantastic). This place breathes life, and the staff are all really genuine and inspiring people.

The bar looks like something you would find in Downtown Minneapolis, St. Paul, or any other major city. Classy, but never pretentious.

They're also focused on showcasing local artistry, and if you're lucky, you may be able to match up the paintings with the artist himself who works evenings behind the bar :)

This place caters to everyone, and is run with high quality and good vibes.

“WONDERFUL!!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 4, 2012

Great food and great service. My husband I stopped in late on a Thursday night. Our server was friendly and patient and offered great recommendations. The ravioli was so fantastic, I wish the bowl had been three times the size :)

“Underrated”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 24, 2012 via mobile

I came in for the Gouda stuffed dates, wrapped in bacon, of course. Tried the Elsa Bianchi Malbec, and the Debrue India Black ale. Both were very good so I settled on the beer. The food was divine and the beer cold and tasty. It was Friday night, and as the tables began to fill, the service never deteriorated. My phone was nearly dead and Daniel provided a charger for me.
