The tour takes about a hour and it's fun for all ages. There are some steep stairs that may be hard for some to climb.

“Great Tour”
Reviewed August 13, 2013

Bill did a great job and was full of great info. Good value and full of good history! I had my 11 year old and 6 year old with us and they both liked the tour! Time well spent!

“Very interesting”
Reviewed August 12, 2013

Did you ever wonder what it is like on one of those BIG ore boats? Then take this tour. Very informative and interesting. Guides are very nice but not real informed on the material. Lots of walking up and down steep stairs so keep this in mind for kids & elderly.

“A special museum”
Reviewed August 7, 2013

This former flagship (1938) of the US Steel fleet is a terrific tour. You have to go with a guide, and ours spoke teen (too fast), but the hold and wheel house and engine room and luxury suites were well worth it.

“Great!”
Reviewed August 6, 2013

Our tour guide Jessica C. did an awesome job, she kept the tour exciting, answered our questions with such zest! She was never distracted by the noisy kids. Tour was great, made this mom a little nervous but my kids loved it. Might think twice if I had several little ones, lots of steps.
