“Stunning view, well worth the effort”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 22, 2013

Both the tower itself and the surrounding park area offer stunning views over Duluth and Superior. The tower is worth the climb and is quite sheltered on a windy day.

If you are lucky the aerial lift bridge will be in action when you are up there which made the trip even better.

Best of all is the fact that this is free to visit.

“Worth the drive for the view.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 8, 2013

This is worth the drive to see the views of Duluth from Enger Tower. There are vantage points all around each floor as you climb to the top. Each floor adds a better look at Duluth and The Aerial Bridge. They were remodeling the one building there, and we had to go through the sprinklers to hike up to the tower. There may be more information available once the complex is completed.

“Breathtaking Views of Duluth and Superior”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 5, 2013

if you want to get the picture, it`s worth the trip. This is good for families, the kids can climb though rocks to get to the tower or take the paved path to it where you can get a 360 view of what is going on in Duluth shore and high bridge. It was fun seeing a ship depart and go under the elevated high bridge-you can get a schedule of what ships are coming and going on the local newspaper, I'm sure there is an app for that too.
They have a Zen Japanese garden and other structures that you will enjoy.
Presently they are repairing the bathrooms so they have port-a potties... which it was the only temporary downside for me. I should have gone before the trip.
Allow 1 hour.

“As far as Towers go....”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 4, 2013 via mobile

This is an impressive tower in a beautiful park setting. The gardens of flowers were well kept and full of colorful blooms.
The tower it self is a walk up to incredible views of Duluth. We enjoy this little free side venture.

“Definitely worth a visit.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 2, 2013

The steep hills behind downtown Duluth make for dramatic views of the city and Lake Superior if one can get above the trees. This old-fashioned tower makes that possible. Especially fine place to visit near sunset. Don't hesitate to climb the stairs; there aren't many and the view improves 100% at the top.
