We loved this road, BUT there is so much road construction! We had to turn around twice, and was detoured once. I know it is because of the flooding, but really - could you have a sign or two up about it before we come to a dead end and have to turn around in the middle of the road?

We thought the views from Skyline Parkway were really pretty, but the roads were in disrepair (probably from the recent flooding this summer). Very picturesque.

We drove Skyline Parkway during a rain storm. The gravel road part of the drive unnerved me. And when we came back to pavement----if we did not have GPS--not sure where we would be. Too remote for me but beautiful overlooks.

The road climbs up about 400ft above Duluth and you can see all of the city including the Lift Bridge and Minnesota Point. Skyline goes right by Enger park and they have a tower there but we didn't partake.

Drove up at night to look for northern lights. Didn't see any but were able to see nice stars, a beautiful view of Duluth. Be aware, the road can be rough with a connecting road washed out by recent floods. Also a great area to see thousands of hawks during autumn migration, it's amazing!
