“Great area”

There are a few restaurants and bars right beside the bridge. There's also access to lighthouse and the shoreline so it's a very cool area. Family friendly.

“Yep it's a big bridge”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 10, 2013

This is a Duluth land mark and must see. We have driven over it several times but this trip we did not. You don't have to hang around very long to see it go up and that is pretty cool. Great stop and must see in Duluth!

“Fun to See”

It's fun to see and there's a nice park by it also. I'm sure kids would really enjoy it. It's a nice walk along the shore line.

“Very impressive”

Go in the Army Corp of Engineers office and they have a schedule of when the boats are arriving and departing. It is cool when the boats are going under the bridge.

“Fascinating”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 2, 2013

We called the hot line to learn when ships would be coming in (or out) of the canal. We watched a huge ship enter the canal and go under the bridge. It is fascinating.
