“Classic "Up North" fun”
Reviewed August 1, 2011

What a great place. Beautiful property right on Star Lake. Nice, clean lake with a sandy beach. So quiet and peaceful unlike other nearby lakes. Endless fun with canoes, kayaks, paddle boat, floating raft, swimming, fishing, bonfires, on and on. Fishing boats and pontoons available to rent. Tons of wildlife, beavers, bald eagle, loons. Something for everyone. Great for families with kids of all ages, or just a couples getaway. Wonderful and friendly owners. Such a fun vacation. Already have a reservation for next year.

We loved our week at Pine Terrace on Star Lake, and next year we'll bring our kids and grandkids. It's the only resort on a small, quiet lake...people come to relax and enjoy the peacefulness of nature. There's a lot to do...fishing, nature trails, a swimming beach and small playground, fire rings, and more. Our cabin was gorgeous...well-built, beautifully furnished, great kitchen, everything spotless. Steve, Jane, and son Landon are super friendly and helpful. The town of Cross Lake, just a few miles away, has groceries, bait, antiques, ice cream shop, and lots more. I loved that their website has great information and photos, including pix of all the cabins. .

Each cabin includes dock space, a charcoal grill and picnic table. Two all-season cabins include fireplace, screened porch, sun deck and two baths. Three cabins are handicap-accessible.
