This appears to be a family based restaurant/grocery store. They make their own kimchi here and sell them in large jars. The best store bought kimchi I've tasted here.
The restaurant food was fair to good as well. Overall worth trying at least once.

While this is an Asian grocery store, in the back they have a "deli" that serves hot food. It is not a fancy place, but the food is worth the trip. They have a good variety of dishes that were ALL very good. If you like Korean/Asian food, you will not be disappointed.

I had the hot stone bowl bibimbap (rice with beef and vegetables;pickled side dishes). It was very tasty - the rice was nicely carmelized at the bottom of the sizzling hot bowl and the sides were tasty. I didn't feel the best afterward though - had forgotten to ask them to hold the MSG.

Atmosphere: well used serve-yourself sit down area off to the side of the Oriental grocery area. Not the cleanest but if the taste and authenticity of the food is the most important thing, this place is a winner. It gets high ratings locally as the place for the most authentic Korean cuisine.

More a "large wall-menu and counter with some tables" than an actual restaurant, my hot stone rice bowl was fantastic. Having not had this before, I was delighted by the crispiness of the rice as I mid-meal flipped it from the bottom of the hot bowl. Sides of fried tofu, bean sprouts, kimche, etc. were all excellent. Already considering when to return. A neat experience overall.

This place is in the back of a small grocery store... restaurant is super tiny but the food was amazing. Authentic & affordable. I would definitely go back.
