The Benedictine Monks have a tradition of hospitality wherever they reside. Their monastery and university in the heart of central Minnesota is a treasure. The University Campus and Monastery is a small part of the over 2,000 acres they have of woodlands and lakes.
A new Guest House provides a stunning view of the largest lake and is adjacent to the Abby Church and other University buildings including the Hill Museum and Manuscript Library which houses the now famous Saint John's Bible which has been described as “One of the extraordinary undertakings of our time" by the Smithsonian Institute.
Worshiping with the monks in their modern church is open to all and provides a peaceful and meaningful experience for visitors.
