This was big but really thought it lacked dignity. You can't miss it off the highway. You can also see it from the discovery centre.

This statue is dedicated to all the miners of the Iron Range. It is a tribute to all the hard work that this area has done to make our country what it is today!

It's just a big statue next to a highway with a parking lot. Not particularly attractive. There's a McDonald's across the street.

The sign is a little outdated as it is now the fourth tallest free standing monument, but it is still as stunning and huge as I remember as a child. The ground are well kept and we easily found our way with all the directional signage. Perfect place to stop, stretch, and enjoy the monument to local Iron Range history.
