On the spur of the moment, we decided to spend a night in the Duluth area. Since we hand not really planned a head we took a chance and booked Oldenburg about 20 miles south of Duluth, in part because the price was very reasonable compared to Duluth, Glenn and Helen were very welcoming and friendly. Breakfast was wonderful, home cooked meals can't be beat. The grounds are beautiful and our room comfortable and inviting. We unfortunately did not have a enough time to hike or explore the state parks. Loved the front porch swing!
