We have been going to Maplelag for over forty years. There were a few years we missed but there were some years we went more than once. We mainly go in the winter for the cross country skiing, for us that is what Maplelag excels at. It is perhaps not everyone's resort, it's not what most would consider a five star, if you don't bring your sleeping bag you will have to rent bedding. Meals are served family style and while special needs are catered to there is no a la carte menu. We have taken our son there for 35 years and this year we will be taking our grand daughter for her first birthday. The only time we have been disappointed is two year ago when there was not enough snow for skiing so we just hung out in the hot tub, sauna and steam room.
