I wish I had read the other reviews before deciding to try Stephano's. We ordered five items. The "calamari" consisted of boiled baby octopus. Not only that, the octopus was tasteless. How they can label that calamari I will never figure out. The mussels were totally bland and had no spices. The only okay appetizer was the spiced beets but they too had no finesse. Our two entrees were equally bad. The veal Marsala was dry, I mean really dry and the sauce was so bland that it did nothing to moisten the overcooked meat. The whitefish was cooked to a mush and was so crusty around the edges, you couldn't cut it with a fork. The potato chunks were burned hard on the outside and void of any moisture content on the inside. Finally what they served as broccoli was simply a boiled vegetable with a bare sprinkling of cheese. I told my wife I wished we had gone to Burger Time. At least we could have tasted something. The restaurant desperately needs a new chef.
