We were not sure what to expect, especially sine there are so few reviews on Tripadvisor, so we decided to take a chance on this place. Good thing we did. Four of us walked in hoping that they would have a table and they were able to seat us right away. The atmosphere is nice. The attire is resort casual. The greeter was a pleasant fellow who was genuinely happy that we chose the Antler. We received prompt attention from the waitress and when asked, she suggested the walleye. We tried that and the steak and the lobster. Each was outstanding. We would go back again. One small thing: we asked if the cheesecake is "New York" style and were assured it was. It was not. I told the waitress we were disappointed but it didn't matter.

Chef Casey, is very creative and blends old with new very nicely.
He creates some of the best dishes I have tasted. The lunch specials are very reasonably priced (usually about 11 bucks) and unbelievable. The Sunday Buffet is the best in the Lakes area. I would be remiss if I didn't mention Don, the Manager who will bend over backwards for any customer. That is a sight to see.

Every trip up north should include a meal of Walleye Pike at Antlers. The best walleye any where in this are.
