My wife and I stayed there just one night, as it was close to the airport and reasonably priced. A couple of things marred our stay: first of all, the pillows are very thin and skimpy. I'm not much of a prima donnna (or don, I guess) but their pillows were quite insubstantial. Secondly, they must not have been looking too closely at their guest register because at 2:45 AM another guest opened our door with a key provided by the front desk, thinking he had found his room. Needless to say, it took some time for us to get back to sleep.
You get what you pay for, and here you don't get much but a roof, a clean room and bathroom, and proximity to the airport.

Because we could not find any detailed reviews of this hotel, we were kind of leary booking a room here, but took the plunge and booked a room anyways. What a pleasant surprise!

Extended Stay America consists of larger sized studio hotel rooms, which includes a kitchenette. If you stay a week or longer you will get a better rate than just staying a few days, hence the name Extended Stay.

Our room consisted of a very comfortable King Sized Bed with cherry wood furnishings, desk and small kitchen table, an arm chair recliner, 26" television with several movie channels, free local telephone calls and free parking. The kitchenette included a full sized fridge, 2 burner hot plate, toaster, microwave and coffee maker. There is no Oven. Free coffee was provided for the first nights stay only. Iron & Ironing board in your room for your convenience. Soap was provided, but no shampoo/conditioner or blow dryer. Although, when we requested a blow dryer, the front desk gladly provided us with one for the duration of our stay. There is no pool or health club, but the hotel has a freebie deal with Bally's fitness, if you want to work out or swim (inquire at front desk).

Because of the lower room rates, maid service is limited to twice weekly. A refresh service on day 4 which includes taking out the garbage, clean towels, making the bed and vacuuming only. A full cleaning service is provided on day 7.

Cub Foods - a large grocery store and Perkins Restaurant are nearby the hotel on 84 St. The Green Mill restaurant on 94 St. W. by the Holiday Inn serves incredible deep dish pizza and chicken wings. It is probably best to have a rent a car from this location, it is very easy and straight forward to get around. The Mall of America is a 5 minute drive from the hotel, the airport about 15 minutes away. Famous Daves BBQ at the Mall of America is a must try. St. Louis ribs and chicken is yummy. Drunken apples as a side order is a must. Your choice of 5 different BBQ sauces in big bottles right at your table.

This hotel is located a little farther inland from major highways than the other major chains whose hotels sit closer to the 6 lane highway. We prefer less road and traffic noise for sleeping. Over all we found the hotel, clean, quiet, with friendly and helpful staff. We would not hestitate to recommend this hotel to others or stay here again. Great value.

Rated above average for value. Recommend booking directly to hotel versus online due to overbooking by company, according to general manager. Booked online for two beds, ended up with one bed first night because of such. First time experience in reservations. General manager was a good troubleshooter and made proper corrections and compromises for our stay.
