Staff were very friendly. Has a great pool and hot tub. Really enjoyed our stay. Went to a Vikings game, staff were very helpful with getting us there. Happy hour at the restaurant attached to the hotel was amazing. We stayed four days at this hotel and went every day for happy hour. Would definitely recommend the mussels. Love our stay and would definitely stay .

Our family of 5 stayed here for 3 nights just after Christmas and thought the hotel was great. We were a bit concerned initially because our 1st floor room was just off the pool entrance, breakfast area and an outside entrace (yikes!), but it was very quiet in spite of all the activity outside our door.

The rooms are very nice. The shower has plenty of hot water and good water pressure. Beds are comfortable and there are plenty of comfy pillows!

The front lobby is cold (I felt sorry for the staff) in December. The automatic doors are directly across from the front desk so it is chilly. The staff is nice and welcoming. There is a shuttle service to the MOA, but we walked because it is so close.

Breakfast is great, but come early because after 8:30AM it's a madhouse. Parking was no trouble. We always got a spot right by the entrance. The pool is wonderful for kids but there is a bit too much cholrine in the water and it was hard on the eyes. There were 3 handicap lifts into the pool, which I thought was nice for those in need. Maid service was very good and never came knocking on the door early morning. The room price was reasonable and a good value.

We had a nice dinner in the Italian restaurant. Xavier was our waiter and he did a great job.

We would definitely stay here again.

Checked in after 8pm on a Wednesday night, and at first glance, the hotel was very nice. Decorated very nice, had a late dinner at the adjoining restuarant and then went back to room to go to bed. Pulled back the comforter and found hair all over the bed and pillowcases, one pillowcase even had a blood stain on it and there was a dirty kleenex left behind the toilet. Called front desk, was told the housekeeper was too busy to come to our room and we would have to go down to front desk to get clean sheets. We did, returned to our room, only to discover we were given queen sheets instead of king sheets, and we were short pillowcases. Went back to front desk, said they would send a night runner for king sheets and he would be there shortly. Night runner came, gave us sheets and left. Unfortunately, we got queen sheets, yet again. Called down to front desk, night runner brought another set of sheets and told us that if these weren't king, then they would just move us to another room. Thankfully, after waiting 45 minutes, we finally got king sheets. We were happy to just have sheets and be able to go to bed. Until 4:30am when we received a wake up call from the front desk that we did not order. Didn't manage much sleep after that. Went down and got breakfast, which was good although the area was very crowded. Spent the day at the mall and came back early evening to go swimming. Entered the pool area and there were no pool towels anywhere, although the sheet that I had to sign saying I understood the pool rules said to use the pool towels in the pool area. Went to front desk to ask for pool towels, they did not have any. Said they would run some to the pool area right away. We stayed in the pool area for almost an hour, without any towels being brought down. Checked out the next morning very disappointed. We go to the MOA a couple times a year and have stayed at the BW in Eagan before trying this BW and we will be going back to Eagan.

We booked this while traveling during a winter storm realizing we couldn't drive to our destination. What a great deal at $65 for the night. We were placed in a hypo-allergenic room which had obviously recently been updated as everything was so crisp and clean. The bedding and bed were fantastic. The manager at checkin was so friendly for it being 1230am during Christmas. My daughter was up early at 7 so we wandered down to breakfast and enjoyed hot waffles, yogurt and cereal. I love breakfast inclusion at hotels as it would have cost is $25 as a family at a fast-food restaurant. We didn't use the pool, but I let my daughter run around in the pool courtyard and play video games. A strong chlorine smell but it looked like a very fun pool area for families. Would maybe be loud if you were sleeping in a room facing it, but would be very convenient for families.
No complaints at this property - we will recommend and would stay again. Best western is obviously doing some work as their hotels have greatly improved in the last few years.
