Great hotel, clean rooms & well & equipped. Loved the chair to relax in after shopping. The shuttle driver was kind & courteous as we're the other staff. Breakfast area is very busy in the morning especially around 8:30 a.m. My only complaint is no pool towels & the quality of food at the restaurant. We asked & were told they were being folded & would be brought to the pool area but after an hour, still no towels so we went up to our rooms wet & cold. We ended up using our room towels to dry ourselves. We dined at the restaurant cOnnected physically to the hotel - Red Rosa and it was an ok meal. My mother in law had the fish with fingerling potatoes & carrots beneath were rock hard. I had lasagne which was ok but not impressive. The tomato sauce needed more simmering somewhat as it had a strong tomato taste.

The hotel is newer and very clean. The pool area is very well kept and large. The seating outside of the pool area itself is a great opportunity to keep an eye on the kids but not be poolside. Dinner from the restaurant was great and fairly priced. Scotty behind the bar was exceptional! We will be back again.

Room Tip: If traveling with children, get a room that is on the first floor and opens to the pool.

Stayed at the Best Western Plus because of its close proximity to the Mall of America and the MSP airport. It's a 2 story hotel so I was thinking it might be kind of yucky but when we got there I was pleasantly surprised. They do take pets for only $20 per night and the walking area for the dogs is a nice space. They even have plastic bags for your use at a disposal station on the green space.

The pool area is really large and fun for the kids with water attractions in the pool which is indoors. The shuttle runs continuously to MOA which is nice that you don't have to be there at the top of the hour. We called for pickup from the mall and was picked up within 5 minutes. The driver even dropped us off at TGIF instead of the hotel since we wanted to grab a bite to eat.

The rooms are a good size. Nice furnishings with free internet. Bathrooms were clean and the free continental breakfast was very good. It was crowded around the 8am time frame so be prepared. They have a little hotel shop to pickup sodas, ice cream, etc. Staff is warm and welcoming. I would stay here again.

Room Tip: They have 4 pet rooms available.

I had googled hotels close to Mall of America and this hotel is across the street. As my husband and I entered the lobby we were wondering to ourselves, "I wonder what this will cost?"
As we approched the front desk, a very nice young lady asked if she could help us. We advised her that we had googled this hotel the previous night and would like a room - she had rooms available - great price - and we took it.
Our room was on the first floor close to the 2nd entrance; the room was fantastic, nicely decorated, bathroom very clean - loved it.
Breakfast room is a very busy place - everything you would want for a breakfast, fresh fruit to breads, yogurt, etc...
I would definitely stay here again if I ever re-vist the MOA.

It really is across the street from Mall of America!! So if your trip involves shopping at MOA, then this Best Western is a great place, especially if you want a pool. Everything is new and clean, and nicely decorated; breakfast is ample and fresh; the pool area is huge with lots of extras for kids; the air conditioning was consistent! (even with the relentless midsummer heat this year); and the staff was friendly and accomodating. Our only complaint was some confusion surrounding the room-cleaning instruction card and some missing towels, but really, nothing even worth speaking to the front desk about.

We booked an "oversize" queen room that contained a loveseat, coffee table, plus a desk and chair, which was great for our two teenagers, considerable shopping bags, and several in-room meals. Appreciated also was the availability of fresh fruit, water, and coffee throughout the day, the shuttle to the MOA and nearby airport (which we did not use, but was handy for my parents), and the access to the LRT train to down town Minneapolis.

It was initially a little difficult to find the right ramp off 494, but once familiar with the route, it was very accessible for shopping (MOA and other shopping centres), the Zoo, roads to St. Paul and the train to go downtown (which I would recommend as the way to get there if you are not opposed to some walking).

Room Tip: None of the rooms has much of a view, as this hotel is here because of the freeway access and MOA!

I stayed here with my Mom over the weekend while she was visiting Minneapolis. I couldn't have been more pleased with the hotel. EIther it's new or has recently been updated. It's clean and the staff are courteous and helpful. The pool and waterpark is great, even if you don't have kids (I don't). We went on Saturday afternoon expecting it to be crawling with children, and it was empty. Everyone must have been at the Mall of America. It was so nice to sit and relax in the quiet and swim around in peace.

The rooms were very nice. The beds were comfortable, the air conditioner worked great, and the bathroom was lovely, lovely, lovely. The complimentary breakfast was a nice surprise, too! Not the usual toast and fruit, but eggs, bacon, sausage and gravy, fresh oatmeal, make-your-own waffles, the works. They even provide a tray in your room so you can bring it back and eat in there in you prefer.

Great location right across the street from the mall. Loved the restaurant attached to the hotel too - I believe it's called Redrossa.

Will definitely recommend it to friends and family when they visit.

Room Tip: If you're someone with kids, they do offer rooms looking right out onto the pool with walk-outs...

Stayed here for one night only. Found it to be clean and comfortable. Right across the street from Mall of America. You can walk to the mall if you want to. We would definitely stay here again if in the area. No negatives from us!
