Wednesday is family night. 2 adult meals and 2 kids meals for $9.99. I had the salmon lasagna. Yum, Yum. You can add a side salad and a drink for $1. This is a great place to meet for coffee and dessert.

The food is cafeteria style. You select what you want and then pay. The seating area is in a large area with lots of windows. It is very light and airy.

They also sell many food items in the store. Wednesday is 20% off all salmon products. I buy the frozen salmon filets and the smoked/marinated salmon (also frozen).

If you are hungry and in the area, IKEA is worth the visit.

This is cafeteria style with many Scandinavian specialties like open face sandwiches, meatballs, crepes and salads. They also have fish and chips, ribs and other interesting things on rotation. Prices are incredibly low. Breakfast is $.99. If you have an IKEA family card, coffee is always free. The coffee there is first class too. The desserts are the same as those you can buy frozen in the food deli. They are ok to good. Again the price is incredible. With soft drinks, main course and dessert, a meal is often at around $6-$7. For instance the fish and chips tonight was $1.99. It is going through the line self-service but the place is comfortable.

We were in Bloomington the last day of our 3-week vacation in the USA and wanted to see what IKEA was like abroad. It was about the same as in Sweden with the help yourself system. There were different meals to choose from for instance meatballs, Salmon and a crayfish plate and the Frödinge mini cakes that we can buy in Swedish food stores. We took the meatballs and it tasted as it usually does at IKEA. The difference is that we had 15 meatballs here instead of a couple of options at home. I thought how can I make it but it worked. It was not as much mashed potatoes so it Went well. In Sweden you can have mashed potatoes too but also boiled potatoes if you like. Lingonberries and gravy Went with this. Like at home. In Bloomington we could also choose between a side salad or a soup. We don't have soup with it as side dish but can add side salad but pay extra for it. The meal cost a Little less than 6 dollars each with taxes. More than in Sweden but here you had the side salad and more meatballs. There were many people around but it Went quickly and it seemed clean too.

This place sucked, if I need anything from there I will get it from the website or order it through the catalog.

The food is right there-- cafeteria style-- and it's good and it reasonably priced, so what the heck? Why wouldn't you eat there?
