I headed to Outback on a rainy evening while I stayed at the Comfort Inn in which it’s located. All in all a good experience, with a couple of caveats.
The hostess seated me promptly when I arrived, but I then waited for nearly 10 minutes before I had to ask if anyone was working in the section where I was seated. Once I asked, a waitress appeared to take my drink order, but did not ensure that the table was set with a napkin and silverware. As my meal arrived, I had to ask the waitress for them.
The food was standard Outback fare. The salad was very wilted, but the steak and potato were just as I’d ordered. The wine was good.
One annoyance – this is the first Outback I’ve visited that did not offer free wi-fi for patrons. When I’m dining alone, I do appreciate the opportunity to go on-line for some reading. If they’d had wi-fi,
