“Wonderful property!”

Attended a wedding here and was very impressed, the decor is upscale modern and very appealing! Customer service was very good and friendly but front desk did not tell us you have to scan your room key in order for the elevator to move to your floor. Food was alright not outstanding. Very convenient to shop at Mall of America. Very clean and polished. Valet parking. Reasonable room block rate.

I stayed at the Radisson Blu for the first time in August for a business trip.
When I arrived I was a little surprised to see that it was “at” the mall, I expected it to be near the mall.
Over all, this was an excellent property for a business trip as long as the location is right.
I was impressed with the guest room and the hotel staff. The bed was excellent.
Unfortunately I will never return to this hotel again due to the driver of the hotel airport shuttle.
There were about 6 people in the group going to the airport including myself and 2 clients. This was an excellent opportunity for me to have a last minute conversation with client and leave a good impression. The driver interrupted all conversation in the van to tell rambling tales about the quirky nature of the Minnesota rules involving where the hotel shuttle can drop off guest at the airport and other tales about the city.
He also asked which airline we were flying and when I told him I was flying AirTran he said “Oh you’re flying the cheap seats”.
He asked where I was from and I said Washington D.C. and he asked how much my rent was.
All inappropriate, none of his business and frankly rude.
Sorry Radisson Blu, you were doing so good with my visit, but now it is a complete fail. I will never return.

We apologize for the disappointing service you received from our staff. Our team works hard to make sure our guests are comfortable and receive our best “Yes I Can!” service. We have shared your feedback with our shuttle service so they may follow up with the driver and we appreciate you bringing this matter to our attention. To discuss your concern further, please contact the hotel directly, and ask for Edean Kam, Director of Operations.

Just got back from staying 3 nights at the Radisson blu. We stayed in the natural cool room and I thought this was a really nice looking room. Very modern and nice amenities. The hotel itself is really nice (short on elevators from mainfloor to the second) the main elevators were plenty and never had to wait long. The doormen were very professional and on the ball! Nice grand entrance to the lobby of the hotel. Front desk staff were good. Needed more people working considering the amount of people that were checking in the hotel. We were told that there were no rooms avail. cause the hotel was totally sold out. Waited along time to check in. And also disappointed to when we did check in we were charged our credit card before we checked in. Usually the room is not charged til we that day. Overall rooms were again nice but our coffee machine was broken my husband went to get a new one and that took over an hour to get another one. The bed to my preference was way to hard. The bathroom was my biggest complaint! Absolutely no storage area. There was about 2 inches on each side of the sink so if you want to put makeup on Good luck! Cause there is no where to put anything down. Only 2 hooks in the bathroom to hang anything on. There needs to be more storage!! Bathroom itself was nice. Nice big shower with a nice bench and a rainshower. The view facing the city was awesome. We were on the top floor so we got to see lots. Planes taking off and arriving. (NOT noisy at all) the only noise was when someone in the hall slammed their door that was LOUD!! Hallways have really nice plush carpet to keep sound quiet. We had access to the business lounge and that was really nice. Able to go and get hot water when needed, breakfast was served and it was good except the oatmeal was always cold every morning. The staff in there was great. So nice to talk to. And it was very casual in there. One other thing that I noticed everyone liked about this hotel was the convenience to the mall. With little kids it was easy just to go to and from back to the room. Wished we would of had alittle larger room with the four of us it was tight. But again nice room, nice hotel, we did eat at the restaurant a few times. The staff was really great. Very accommodating. The food, wasn't the best but the dessert was so good. Hopefully they will keep up to the wear and tear of this hotel with the amount of traffic that goes thru here. That was the main reason why we picked this hotel cause it was brand new.

This hotel, which connects with the Mall Of America, is beautifully designed, staffed with courteous employees, quiet, and spotless. It also has a beautiful salt water swimming pool which is very comfortable for lap swimming. The food at the restaurant is good and the parking is close - and of course the shopping is magnificent. This hotel leaves nothing to be desired.

This was a free night for my family as a result of the 1 for 1 promo that Club Carlson ran several months ago. Andreas Kessler checked us in. What a professional gentleman! 100% proactive! I love to hear "We've already upgraded you to a Business Class room and you have complimentary access to the Business Class lounge for the evening reception and for breakfast." A welcome gift of pralines and a note from General Manager Harry Gorstayn was promptly delivered to our room. If Mr. Kessler could be at every Carlson property simultaneously, there would never be any negative reviews of any of the Carlson branded hotels!

We visited the lounge during the evening, and Courtney H. and Ratzeney were flawlessly efficient at keeping the food and beverages stocked. Each lady had a beaming smile and was warmly welcoming to the lounge guests. The view of the MSP airport from the lounge is amazing, by the way. Cheers to Courtney and Ratzeney for a great evening experience!

At checkout, Amy and Erin offered just the right amount of professionalism and humor. What a great team!

Also, my son left a flatscreen LCD monitor in our hotel room (1305), and security managed to locate it and are shipping it to our home in Texas. I cannot remember the name of the lady in the security office with whom I spoke by phone on the morning of 25 July, but I wish to commend her on her professionalism and sensitivity to our son's situation and her quick action with ensuring that the screen would be shipped back to us. Whoever you are, security representative, please accept our thanks.

All in all, this was a fabulous stay. The sleeping room was brilliant, the bedding was exceptionally comfortable, the room itself was whisper quiet and spotless, the views were unparalleled, the ability to stroll straight into the Mall of America was awesome for my family, the staff were completely professional and an excellent reflection of the desire of Radisson to exhibit consummate professionalism and graciousness. The pool area was luxuriant (oh my, the pool towels were almost better than the room towels!), the Business Class lounge was impeccably staffed, and the lobby was awe inspiring. My family will recommend the Radisson Blu Mall of America without hesitation to all of our friends and followers! Many, many thanks for a stay that was superlative in every way!

Room Tip: Ask for a room facing the airport for great views of arriving and departing aircraft.

Flawless new hotel with unbeatable convenience to Mall of America. Our family of four stayed one night while in town for a wedding. We all loved the modern design and the dreamy beds. Rooms were spotless and shower was top of the line. Lobby and rooms are hip and chic. So fun to wake up and walk to mall for morning coffee and a day of shopping. Hard to imagine anyone not loving this hotel.

Staff courteous, attentive and lots of smiles. Gym spacious and pool roomy. Room clean, no tubs (boo hoo) but shower spacious. Great parking at hotel. Would definitely go back for honeymoon, anniversary, girls night out or for any specal occasion. Fire House Grill had great lamb ribs. Only complaint is that coffee should be available from 5-7 am and not just 5-6. Early risers work out before the first cup of coffee. Great coffee in ST. Paul called Grand Cental on Grand Ave right by Macalester College and if you want a great salad, soup and dessert try Cafe Latte on Grand.
