We live close to Bella Cucina, and find the food and service consistently excellent. Both Eddie and Cathy (owners) frequently are there. I think Eddie is the main cook. Bella Cucina is a hidden gem in a strip mall, not easily seen from the main road. We hosted our 25th wedding anniversary dinner there, and it was very enjoyable. When we aren't hosting a special occasion, we love the chopped Italian salad, and the spicy potato sausage pizza is unusual and exceptionally tasty. The roasted vegetable appetizer is excellent. Been there often, never had a bad meal, and service is commendable.

After reading the reviews of this restaurant, I decided to go against the higher rankings and take my wife here. It was a very average experience. We had a hard time finding the restaurant because their sign is not lit. Once inside, the host (possibly owner), took us to our table, but was very neutral about it (no smiles, no "how are you?). It took a while for our server to bring our drinks and even longer for our appetizer, then entree, and then check. The decor was nothing special, but it seemed clean.

The gratis bread was delicious as was the bruchetta (sp?) with goat cheese and grilled peppers. My wife's cannelloni satisfied her, but my chicken parm was bland and just was not appetizing at all.

Not bad, not great...just average!

Minnesota will stick a eating ace in just about any location. This place is in a strip mall, hold on I flinched as well when an out of town sales guy picked this place at random. The atmosphere is nothing to write home about and frankly I did not take any pictures since there are too many foodies that would never get caught dead in a strip mall. The food is above average and a reasonable price. Try the potatoe appetizer chunks seasoned just right and crisp with a nice dipping sauce, all for about 5 bucks. The chicken Parmesan is very good not omg good but a nice portion good taste and a nice price. The staff is nice and attentive!

We visited Bella Cucina on an evening they had lost their air conditioning due to an equipment failure. It was really warm, humid and a bit uncomfortable. However, the food and wait staff was excellent in spite of the adverse circumstances. I had the lemon chicken fettuccine and thought it was vey good. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience in spite of no air conditioning.
