“Ok food, good drinks at Happy Hour”
Reviewed April 15, 2013

Stopped in for lunch and I had the tacos with rice and beans. My friend had the fajitas and she said hers were very good, but the menu said with homemade tortillas which they were not. The food was okay, tacos pretty greasy but tasted pretty decent. The beans were good, rice just mediocre. We did have a really good and very nice waiter, Jaime. We stopped back later for Happy Hour. You could order a basic drink with certain premium liquior so we had Gin and Tonics. They were made tasty and strong and TALL for $3.00 each, a pretty good deal. We walked away with a fun buzz and were being picked up so no worries there!

“Not worth the time or money”
Reviewed March 18, 2013 via mobile

Went there as an alternative to Chevy's. Big mistake! For starters, table we wanted to sit at was grudgingly cleaned and leftover food bits were still on it after the hostess had to finish the bussers' job!
Neither waitress nor hostess noticed that we need something other than our fingers to eat our food, so we had to grab our own silverware. No visible manager on duty! Waitress forgot our guacamole order. Never came to check on us at all till we were almost done. We had to ask runner for our forgotten guacamole order. Servers seem like they don't care; seems to be the whole culture around the restaurant. Not one server with personality. The food: below average. Steak was ok, guacamole has more lettuce than avocado. Rice was tasteless. Only decent dish was fish tacos, but almost anything fried would taste good! I would have rather spent my time and money at Chevy's, in my opinion, the only good Mexican restaurant in the Twin Cities. And no, I do not work for or have anything to do with Chevy's! They just do a good job and use good ingredients!

Great service, quick seating, awesome food. Highly, highly recommend! Never ending chips and salsa was only 2.45 for both of us, she had the lobster tacos, I had the steak fajitas.

“Fun break at the MOA”
Reviewed March 9, 2013

When needing a tasty lunch at the MOA, we stopped here and had great service. It was nice to get away from the crowds. Two areas for seating, one in the bar and the other a restaurant, are nice to have. The restaurant side offers fun views of the amusement park and the bar side has tv s with games on. We have tried both and liked the drinks and food both times. The chips, guac and salsa are wonderful. Dinner entrees also were tasty including the fajitas and enchiladas. Bar service was fast and friendly. Dining room a little slower so if you are in a rush, expect a slower wait.

“Cute inteior, nice views good chips and salsa and SLOW. Restaurant half full on Friday night at 8pm”

Waited for refills on soda chips and salsa. Food took a long time which shouldn't for Mexican food. Chips and salsa good. Still waiting for food writing this review!
