When needing a tasty lunch at the MOA, we stopped here and had great service. It was nice to get away from the crowds. Two areas for seating, one in the bar and the other a restaurant, are nice to have. The restaurant side offers fun views of the amusement park and the bar side has tv s with games on. We have tried both and liked the drinks and food both times. The chips, guac and salsa are wonderful. Dinner entrees also were tasty including the fajitas and enchiladas. Bar service was fast and friendly. Dining room a little slower so if you are in a rush, expect a slower wait.

Waited for refills on soda chips and salsa. Food took a long time which shouldn't for Mexican food. Chips and salsa good. Still waiting for food writing this review!

We went to Cantina #1 late on a Friday night, with margaritas in mind. Our server told us that happy hour starts in six minutes which was welcome news! House margaritas are $5 and are a good size. I got the mango margarita which was typical, one of my friends got the "Dangerous Dave" which is a hollowed out pineapple filled with pina colada, that was $13 but it was fun. The white queso dip was good as was the nachos. It took awhile to get our bill but I think it got busy unexpectedly, but she was cheerful and friendly to us.

A typical Mexican joint with amazing Fajitas! Service was great, prices were decent. We would eat here again for lunch.

I've eaten at Cantina #1 a number of times, and while the food is good, the service is getting worse over time.

We at there on Sunday, 2/12/13. The MOA was crowded, but we arrived at the restaurant at 2:00, well past the lunch rush and before dinner time. We are two adults with two small children. We approached the hostess stand (the one for the restaurant side, not the bar side) and we were told it would be a 30 minute wait. We could see empty tables, but said OK. After 30 minutes, I went to check on our status, and they said they now had a table. Seemed rather suspicious to me that when I asked, all of a sudden a table became available.

As we walked through the dining area, we could see almost half the tables were empty. We were seated and acknowledged by our server, but it took him several minutes to get us drinks. Also we had no setups, and no kid's menu. After several more minutes he took our order. Our order took about 30 minutes to arrive. We finally got setups (they simply handed us some sitting on another table).

The server apologized for the wait saying that the bar was backed up with orders. Huh?

During our time, there was a table of 10 next to us that was seated after us. After about 10 minutes of no attention by the server, they walked out.

Cantina #1 is the only full-service Mexican restaurant in the MOA, so it should be poised for success. The 4th floor has always been a challenge, but with Dick's and the Sky Deck, there seems to be more activity. Obviously, there's a staffing issue - not enough servers or cooks or both. They have a large space which must cost a lot of money, so I don't see continued success if all they are going to do is focus on the bar (crowded) at the expense of the restaurant.
