This is such an awesome place. The sculptures were huge and had so many interesting things. They also have pretty much every lego set you could imagine and I found several of them to be a little less expensive than your average Walmart or Target, which was a great added bonus. The kids loved getting to play with the legos and then picking out thier sets to bring home. Really great place.

Even as an adult this is interesting. Don't excuse it just because you don't have a small child. Find your inner child an long lost imagination. This is a one of a kind attraction. I do miss bringing my child here but those memories and my memories of playing with Legos are revived with a visit. Thank you Lego land.

Our 7-year-old is a Lego nut. He and his dad decided to go check this out while our oldest was on the rope course at Nickelodeon Universe. Very fun area with tons of huge Lego designs all over the place. They had any parts you could image here. There are lots of hands-on things for the kids to enjoy while in here. Once my 12-year-old and I caught up with the other two here, our oldest found lots of things to check out here too. This ended up being a fun place for all of us. :)

The Lego store in the Mall of America is worth a peek even if you aren't into Legos. In addition to many Lego kits you can buy, they have several Lego sculptures that are incredible. They re-did the sculptures about a year ago, and they are now different than what the pictures on TA show. The new sculptures include a saber tooth tiger, a man with a spear, and a giant Transformer.

The store also has display windows with completed Lego kits. There's an area with tables of Legos for kids to play with. The store has a very open floor plan; because of that there are several store employees standing around and staring at everybody to prevent shoplifting. I understand why they need to do that, but it's a little unnerving. We visited the store on a Saturday right after it opened for the day, and it was already very busy. It made it difficult to browse. My son absolutely loved this store, and could have spent a few hours looking around.

For any fans of Legos this is "ground zero". It has to be the most comprehensive collection of ALL things Lego. It has all of the Lego products on display. There's an area for kids to create their own Lego creations. There's some interesting art work crafted from Legos also. This is a must see store at the MOA.
