Kept our two teenagers busy all day while we shopped. Also, got a deal on all-day bracelets with our room at the Best Western Plus.

“A walk in the park.”
Reviewed February 26, 2013 via mobile

I have a long layover at the airport and enjoy coming here to walk around. Even as an adult this is interesting. Don't excuse it just because you don't have a small child. Find your inner child an long lost imagination. This is a one of a kind attraction. I do miss bringing my child here but now I spend less :)

“Awesome place to hit up a park in the Midwest in the winter.”
Reviewed February 24, 2013

Nice amusement park set right in the middle of the Mall. The last time we were here, this was still Camp Snoopy. It was nice to see all the work that has been done, and it looks so much nicer now with the updates.

I really like the way the amusement park is set up with rides kind of overlapping each other or in very close proximity. We only had to walk a few steps from getting off one and onto another. This is obviously not Disney or Universal, but I certainly did not miss the long walks from one ride to another or the long lines from those places. Very nice for a park in the Midwest in the wintertime. There are rides here for everyone from the timid to brave. You can purchase tickets for the individual rides separately, but I think that might get a bit expensive if you ride more than a few. We actually ended up buying the Twilight bracelets, which let us ride for a discounted price from 5-9 p.m. This worked out good, and four hours was enough time for all of us to do what we wanted while we were here.

Our 12-year-old really liked the rope course here. That was extra, but it was not a lot more, and he really likes that kind of thing. There are also a few other things that you can do that are not included in the bracelet price, but that was the only one we chose to do.

We all really liked this indoor amusement park!

smaller than you might imagine...but it is in a mall. The rides are o.k., nothing to write home about. Very expensive in my opinion.

“Crowded, over-priced, rides are okay”
Reviewed February 23, 2013

We spent some time today at Nickolodeon Universe.

Our big mistake was coming on a Saturday. It was packed! We've been here before several times on a Sunday or weekday, and it's never been this bad. Unfortunately, the crowds kind of ruined it for us. Some of the rides are fun, but not worth waiting more than ten minutes for. We waited for the Ghost Outpost ride today for nearly half an hour. I've waited that long for the Haunted Mansion ride at Disneyworld, but this sure ain't Disney. My kids love the ferris wheel, the swing rides, several other rides, but the price and wait (when it's crowded) just isn't worth it. The workers also aren't the friendliest, but who can blame them?

On the plus side, it's usually clean. The rides are colorful and appealing to kids. It's something to do during the winter. Just expect to bring lots of cash or a credit card, and be ready to wait in line if you foolishly visit on a Saturday like we did!
