Description: Axel’s Bonfire, commonly known as Bonfire, features real wood-fired cooking giving the food its rich and distinctive grilled flavor. The relaxed, inviting atmosphere is a perfect backdrop for festive, flavorful American cuisine with a unique Southwest flair. Focusing on quality and freshness, Bonfire prefers to purchase ingredients locally and all food is Trans- fat free and prepared from scratch, including sauces and dressings. The family-friendly restaurant’s signature items include wood-fired pizza, spit-roasted meat, sizzling fajitas, salads, pastas and make-your-own pizzas for kids.

I've been to Axel's many, many times and while I'm always impressed with the food, I've noticed that the service hasn't been great. It is certainly fast enough, but has been really disconnected and somewhat unfriendly the last couple of times.

We have given this place numerous tries thinking that we must have hit it on a bad moment. Service is slow overall. Large place - nice decor but tends to be under staffed We have had chicken, pizza, hamburgs and other items. Tends to be expensive for what you get and the food is just not worth the time or money.

Kitchen was out of numerous items. Server only advised us when we tried to order them, or when we did order them and kitchen substituted something else without telling is. Restaurant was not busy, but service was still extremely slow. No attention to detail. My beef brisket was passable, but the bowl of cole slaw was hot - obviously sat under a heat lamp for quite awhile. Items ordered were wrong, brought dishes that we had never ordered. Wood fired pizza was okay - not great. Overall, poor value for the price.

When a burger and fries is $10 in the middle of nowhere, in a restuarant attached to the mall...then it is over-priced
I had pot-stickers. They were good, but for 6 of them I paid $8..one of the cheaper appetizers. I think they come in a bag of 40 at Sams for 8$ :)
Others had sandwiches, ribs and nachos. On a Friday night at 6:30 they had already run out of white meat rotisserie chicken (and they weren't busy)
Good food, great waiter and a nice atmosphere if you don't mind paying a little more.
