I currently live near this park and love getting over there as often as I can to go for walks. They have great paths along beautiful Lake Bemidji, as well as deep into the forest. They also have a great Bog Walk, that takes you 1 mile into a bog on a floating dock. On the Bog Walk you can see flowers of all different sorts that are unique to bogs, including pitcher plants (which eat bugs), lady slippers and much more.
We also just took a quick one-night stay there for camping. It was delightful! They have spots that are near the bathrooms and other campers, as well as more secluded spots. We enjoyed the two free concerts provided by the park. One was a folk group and another was a blue's group. So fun!
