“The best Restaurant in Ypsilanti!”
Reviewed August 4, 2012

The authenticity and freshness of their food; their service and the fact that La Fiesta is the oldest Mexican restaurant in the Ann Arbor area and their recipes are still remain the same, as the day in 1990, when they first opened. I love those guys!.

“Good Food!”
Reviewed July 6, 2012

Rumor has it that the cuisine is here is more authentically Mexican than the usual Southwestern US that Mexican restaurants serve. I have nothing to compare to as far as authenticity but this food is absolutely outstanding. Park on the side street and walk around the corner. It's worth the effort.

“Mouth-watering, tear-inducing Mexican food!!”
Reviewed June 12, 2012

The food is homemade and it's excellent. I had the Pollo with Mole Sauce and it was perfect. We ordered a pitcher of limeade, which was also homemade. The limeade was great and made up for the fact that they didn't serve liquor here. It might be BYOB, but I'm not sure.

“Simply the best”
Reviewed May 28, 2012

This family owned and operated mexican restaurant will not disappoint. The portions are acceptable, not huge, but the quality of the food is outstanding. So fresh, so tasty, everything else tastes like overly-salty fast food in comparison to this. Service is a bit relaxed sometimes, so don't be in a hurry, but if you want a very satisfying, authentic Mexican meal, visit this restaurant.

“Best Mexican Food in the Ann Arbor/Ypsilanti Area”
Reviewed March 5, 2012

I've been going to La Fiesta Mexicana for more than 20 years. It is owned and run by a wonderful, friendly Mexican couple. The food is not typical Americanized Mexican fare. It is what one would find in the couple's region in northern Mexico. All the tortillas are homemade--delicious. Little soft, round ones come with a fantastic appetizer comprised of melted chihuahua cheese with or without chorizo. You spread homemade salsa on a tortilla and fill it with the cheese. Unbelievable! Never had a dish I didn't love. I especially like the enchiladas. My favorites are filled with cheese, carrots and potatoes served with Mexican rice and refried beans. (Served with all dishes.) The refried beans are unmatched by any I've tasted. They don't serve liquor but you can bring your own. Chips are homemade too but you have to pay for them--worth it. The servings are not large but the prices are so reasonable you can order two different entrees and still pay less than $20 for your meal. Restaurant is small and cozy; atmosphere is warm and friendly. Free parking behind the restaurant. I wouldn't even consider going anywhere else for Mexican food. Neither would my friends.
