“very average, but clean and friendly staff”

The room is nothing special, but everything was clean. The staff were friendly, especially the lady who was in charge of setting up breakfast. The lobby/breakfast area had plenty of tables for all guests to sit at. The A/C worked well in the room. Easy to hop on and off 131.

We stayed one night during a long weekend vacation. We could tell the Hotel had done recent renovations. Everything was very clean, and staff was friendly.
You have many places to eat near buy. Also a Target and Miejer store for any forgotten items.

Hotel was full due to a family wedding. They were unprepared for the barrage off visitors for breakfast. No reason for this. There was hair in one of the beds and yet posters advertising clean sheets all over. One TV did not work and was not resolved that night. Staff was pleasant, but they were understaffed.

Thank you for staying at our Hampton Inn earlier this month. I am glad that you took out time to comment on your experience.

Our entire "Clean and Fresh Hampton Bed" gets washed after every guest. I am sorry that you found hair on your sheets. I will take up that issue with our housekeeping supervisors to ensure better quality for future guests.

We were full the weekend before last with both weddings and the annual Tulip Festival. Our management team will get together to discuss crowd control and staffing on our busy weekends, especially in respects to our breakfast area.

We hope to see you again on your future travels to Grand Rapids.

I am a Gold member and was treated like as I had with zero points. The 100% satisfaction guarantee is worthless especially when I made it clear I wasn’t satisfied and no effort was given to fix the problems.

Thank you for staying with us last month. We appreciate you telling us about your experience at our Hampton Inn.

Most of our rooms do not come standard with microwaves and refrigerators in them. I am sorry that the Hamptonn Inn toll free reservation department misled you to believe that a complimentary portable microwave and refrigerator would be available for you on the full house night in which you stayed at our hotel. I am happy to see that our Operations Manager, Kurt Baur, subsequently refunded your Hhonors points for your award stay.

Stayed at the Hampton for Daughter's Graduation with family of 6. Reserved 2 rooms on points. Property appears due for an upgrade vs other Hamptons i've stayed in. Odd that on floor 1, the room numbers were indicated by a paper sign on the door, along with the room number on the wall.

Everything about the experience of the stay was wonderful. The service, the room, and the price. The area the hotel is in, is not the best. If that doesn't bother you then this would be a great place to stay.

It was a nice hotel - going through renovations at the time so keeping it clean during that is difficult and it didn't look sloppy or messy. The doors closed but seemd off a bit on the side. Breakfast was good but too small of an area - and tables not cleaned. It was during a very busy time.

Thank you for taking the time to respond on Trip Advisor about your recent stay at our hotel. We appreciate your honest feedback. We are happy to say that we have finished our renovations until next fall when we start renovating our guest bathrooms. I apologize that we were not able to keep up with cleaning the tables during the breakfast rush. I will address this issue with our breakfast attendants. I am also happy to say that since you've stayed we have added 8 additional chairs to our breakfast area.
